About Gene
Growing up with his Dad in the Navy, Gene is originally from “all over!” He eventually made his way to the Carolinas and is an avid Gamecock fan who joined the firm in 2016.
With nearly 15 years of experience in public accounting and 10 years in industry, Gene brings a diverse background in accounting and tax. He specializes in closely held businesses, ASC 740, consolidated returns, state and local tax, and tax periods and methods. He has held leadership positions at globally recognized firms such as Wachovia, Deloitte, Bank of America, and Grant Thornton.
Outside of work he can be found running, taking care of home improvement projects, watching movies, and following mixed martial arts.
