About Rob
Rob has over 30 years of business experience and has been in public accounting since 2011. He and his brother, Rich, started Carter in 2011 with the intention of creating a business that made him look forward to going to work each morning. As Treasurer & CFO, Rob is responsible for the firm’s internal infrastructure that allows Rich and the professionals to best serve our clients.
Prior to Carter, Rob spent the majority of career in various accounting and financial analyst positions from multiple roles within the CFO hierarchy at BB&T to the Corporate Workplace Finance team at Bank of America. Each of these roles prepared him for his role as CFO and co-owner of Carter, allowing him to create a work environment of collaboration, teamwork, and respect.
Beyond work, Rob is a big Clemson fan and enjoys watching the Tigers play on Saturdays in the Fall. He also enjoys mild yardwork, cooking out, and summer vacations at the beach.
